Oooh.. if you stop at 8:15 and fold the bottom in to a flat piece and spread out the top , you have a lovely lotus blossom!

I thought I could do that … til the 1st reverse fold . … … At that point some anti origami demon flew into my room and took control of the paper. Arthritis took control of my fingers and it all went to hell. In a 1/2 finished origami basket.

It’s to hard especially for a starter

Following your excellent instructions, I did complete this model; however, I could never imagine how anyone could make the one with a smaller, tighter grid. Making the folds for this model was hard enough, but for me, attempting to make the folds on that model with the tighter grid, seems like an impossible task.

I know this is 7 years old but how the f**k do you get those folds so neat LOL no matter how careful I am, mine always seem to step/fan down (or up depends how you look at it I guess) LOL

I have a feeling trying this with plain 8.5x11 paper myself would result in the paper ripping long before the end. I don't know what magical office supply store you go to, but good job.
